Experience

I am Chief Executive Officer of Zahid Farooq & Co, Chartered Accountants and Farooq Law Associates with more than 25 years' experience in a wide range of industrial sectors. I represent three apex professional accounting bodies of Pakistan in Islamabad - ICAP, ICMAP and PIPFA.

I am a Fellow member of the following professional bodies: the Institute of Financial Accountants (FFA), the Institute of Public Accountants Australia (FIPA), the Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (FCA), the Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (FCMA), the Public and Finance Accountants of Pakistan (FPA) and the Chartered Business Administrator from Canada (CBA). 

I also hold a bachelor of law (LLB) from the University of Punjab with a masters in Economics. I am a Chartered Public Finance Accountant (CPFA - UK) and a Certified Forensic Expert (CFE - Pakistan). I am currently completing my studies with CIMA and ICAEW.
