About the speaker:

Paul BrownPaul Brown ETC Tax

Paul is a Director at ETC Tax, which is a specialist independent tax consultancy based in Cheshire but operating nationally.

Paul started his career with HMRC, before working for some of the Big 4 accounting firms both in the UK and Australia. He also spent a short spell as a tax manager in industry. Paul has always enjoyed working with smaller businesses and their owners as he recognises that the advice he provides can really make a difference.

Paul advises across all aspects of tax with the support of the wider ETC team, but his main focus is on supporting companies and their shareholders to achieve their goals in a tax-efficient manner.  This ranges from ensuring the initial corporate structure is as efficient as possible, helping that structure to evolve to meet the changing demands of the commercial and tax environment, and eventually supporting the business through to achieving a successful exit.
