The Diploma in IFRS for Accounting Professionals

The International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) issued by International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) have been developed to provide a single set of high-quality, understandable, enforceable and globally accepted financial reporting standards. All major economies have established timelines to converge with, or adopt the IFRS.

The Diploma in IFRS for Accounting Professionals is a short but intense programme, delivering:

  • a solid grounding in the background, principles and application of the IFRS framework;
  • an understanding of how IFRS works; and
  • readiness for the transition to IFRS in countries yet to fully adopt the new frameworks.

The objective of the programme is to enhance the knowledge as well as to provide benefit to those offering services in the global market.

The diploma is aimed at accountants, financial managers, auditors and others, such as bankers and investment advisers, who want to develop their knowledge and understanding of IFRS. Participants will gain a working knowledge of IFRS.

This diploma is designed as an international qualification and is not regulated by Ofqual. It is currently available through IFA endorsed training providers in the Russian Federation, the Ukraine and in Lithuania.

The Diploma has recently been updated and provides a full set of questions and answers to use throughout the training as well as an end of course final assessment.

The Diploma in IFRS can be licensed to training providers to offer to learners.
