ICAEW Faculties

Are you a busy professional?

As a busy professional, keeping up to date with the latest developments in your area can sometimes be challenging. With your responsibility for continuing professional development on top of this, it can be difficult to know where to start looking for information.

Consider joining a faculty or special interest group (SIG) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). They are run by experts in their particular area and offer the very best up-to-date information.

The faculties and SIGs can give you the knowledge and essential resources you need to carry out your job to the highest standards. When you join you get access to a wide range of benefits and services to support your business and professional needs; all of which can save you much-needed time. They help you to make sense of today’s issues and to stay ahead in the ever-changing business environment.

Faculties and SIGs have their own website areas, with exclusive access for their members. Regular bulletins and newsletters include advice and expert opinion on the topics of the day. These are available electronically, and archived so you can access the information you need, when you need it.

Membership of the faculties and special interest groups will:
• ensure that you hear about the latest developments in your particular specialist area through regular newsletters;
• give you support, practical help and resources to help plan your continuing professional development;
• give you the opportunity to stay in touch and share knowledge and experience with other members through networking events;
• give you the chance to be heard. For example, the faculties respond and report to governments and regulatory bodies throughout the world in order to influence domestic and international policy and legislation.

But don’t just take our word for it. As a member of IFA, we would like you to experience first-hand what we have to offer so we are giving you the opportunity to subscribe to the faculties or special interest groups at a discounted rate until the end of this year. Once you’ve experienced what we have to offer, we are confident that you will renew your membership for next year.
