This partnership offers an intellectually stimulating and highly relevant opportunity for Associate and Fellow Members of the IFA to gain a BA (Honours) Degree in Accountancy awarded by the University of Bolton. Graduating Associates will be eligible to apply for Fellowship of the IFA. First established in 1842, University of Bolton is funded by the UK Government and is a Member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities. The University awards Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral Degrees. The IFA was founded in 1916 and is the fourth largest professional Accountancy body in the UK. It represents members and students in more than 80 countries throughout the world and provides a qualifications and continuous professional development for those who want to become an Incorporated Financial Accountant.
AIMS
AND OBJECTIVES
To develop your knowledge and skills to become a competent and capable manager with financial acumen
through enhancing your ability to evaluate and analyse business problems and implement appropriate
decisions.
COURSE
STRUCTURE
Joining as an Associate or Fellow Member of the IFA you will study Four Modules in the Final Year. After
successful completion, you will be awarded a BA (Honours) Degree in Accountancy. The Four Modules
consist of Three Taught Modules - Management Accounting Control Systems, Financial Reporting and the
Regulatory Framework and Corporate Strategy and One Project Module - Accounting Theory and Practice.
