BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance

Graduates who have at least 1 year’s experience can apply for the IFA’s intermediate grade of membership. Please click on link below for further information.

Graduates of the above degree and are seeking to become an Associate member of the iFA need to undertake the following units through the IFA Direct Education Programme 

  • Level 7 Corporate reporting for strategic business - advanced 
  • Level 7 UK taxation for business and individuals - advanced

Applicants who have achieved the educational criteria detailed above will also need to provide evidence of having completed a minimum of three years' work experience in accountancy or a closely related field to be eligible for Associate membership. 

BA (Hons) Business and Finance

Graduates who have completed the degree will need to complete the following modules through the IFA Direct Education Programme to meet the IFA's educational criteria: 

  • Level 4 Personal taxation 
  • Level 4 Law for accounting
  • Level 5 Financial reporting 
  • Level 5 Business taxation 
  • Level 5 Assurance 
  • Level 7 Corporate reporting for strategic business - advanced 
  • Level 7 UK taxation for business and individuals - advanced

Once Graduates have completed the modules detailed above they will be eligible to apply for membership of the IFA at Associate level where they are also able to provide 3 years of experience working in the accountancy sector or a closely related field.
