BA (Hons) Professional Accounting
Graduates who have at least 1 year’s experience can apply for the IFA’s intermediate grade of membership. Please click on link below for further information.
Graduates of the above degree and are seeking to become an Associate member of the Institute need to undertake the following units through the IFA Direct Education Programme.
- Level 7 Corporate reporting for strategic business - advanced
- Level 7 UK taxation for business and individuals - advanced
Applicants who have achieved the educational criteria detailed above will also need to provide evidence of having completed a minimum of three years' work experience in accountancy or a closely related field to be eligible for Associate membership.
BA (Hons) Financial Management and Accounting

Graduates seeking Associate Financial Accountant (AFA) membership of the IFA who have at least 3 years work experience in the accountancy sector, will be required to successfully complete and pass the following unit as part of the IFA Direct Education programme
