Audit Chamber of Ukraine

The IPA Group has signed a mutual recognition agreement with the Audit Chamber of Ukraine (ACU), a state institution dedicated to ensuring that auditors fulfil their professional duties assigned to them by the Law. This includes:

• ensure their rights, representation of professional interests of auditors in state authorities, bodies local self-government, protection of professional interests and social rights of auditors, promoting the improvement of the professional level of auditors.
• Provide assistance, through the protection of the interests of individuals and legal entities in the event of an incident causing damage as a result of illegal actions or negligence of auditors.
• Implementation self-regulation of auditing activities.

As part of the agreement, ACU and IPA Group will work closely to:

• Promote recognition of membership: Reciprocal recognition of membership for each bodies members to encourage members to take up membership.
• Support professional development: promote the interest of its members and the accounting profession in general through the provision of continuing professional development events to help maintain high standards of professionalism, knowledge and skills in the sector;
• Co-operate in promoting the recognition within the industry and sharing best practice: assist each body to promote itself in its country of origin and in other countries
