IFA Members also have the opportunity to progress to the MSc who have not previously studied the IFA Direct programme. Members can study the full ATHE Level 7 Extended Diploma in Accounting and Finance which provides a progression to the University of Bolton's MSc Accountancy and Financial Management. 

Members interested in applying for either of these pathways will need to complete an application form and recognition of prior learning will be taken into consideration at the point of application.

Pathway 1

IFA Member - completing IFA Direct

IFA AFA members who have studied and received exemptions from the 14 units of the IFA Direct education programme will need to complete a further 3 Level 7 accountancy units:

• Core financial management – advanced
• Management for strategic performance – advanced
• Audit and compliance advanced

These units are delivered by WINC London Online to gain the full ATHE Level Extended Diploma in Accounting and Finance. Upon successful completion applicants are able to progress to the University of Bolton MSc Accountancy and Financial Management (online).

 

Pathway 2

IFA Member Study with WINC London Online the ATHE Level 7 Extended Diploma in Accounting and Finance qualification. The qualification comprises the following units:

• Corporate reporting for strategic business – advanced
• Core financial management – advanced
• Management for strategic performance – advanced
• UK taxation for business and individuals
• Audit and compliance advanced

Upon successful completion applicants are able to progress to the University of Bolton MSc Accountancy and Financial Management (online).
