Experience
I am a Fellow member of the Institute of Financial Accountants (UK) and the Institute of Public Accountants (Australia), as well as a Professional Accounting Affiliate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree with over 16 years of extensive experience across mergers and acquisitions, governance and risk management, IFRS advisory, auditing, accountancy, and finance. My expertise spans multiple industries, including oil and gas, petrochemicals, telecommunications, power and utilities, manufacturing, and retail.
I have been professionally associated with EY, BDO, and the petrochemicals industry, and I am currently serving in a consulting role within the refinery division of the world's largest oil and gas company. My career has taken me across Middle East and South Asia, working in countries such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, and more recently, I collaborated with Big 4 accountancy firms on mergers, acquisitions, and joint venture assignments involving legal, taxation, and regulatory considerations in China, Singapore, and India.
I am recognised as a subject matter expert in IFRS, with significant contributions across diverse, multi-cultural environments.
Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and exploring new destinations. A significant portion of my leisure time is dedicated to engaging with professional bodies, supporting their members, and conducting research to uncover new business opportunities.

I am an Associate member of the Institute of Financial Accountants (UK) and the Institute of Public Accountants (Australia), as well as a Professional Accounting Affiliate of the Institute of Chartered Public Accountants of Pakistan. I hold a master’s degree in business administration (specialisation in finance) as well as a Bachelor of Commerce degree with over 27 years of extensive experience.
My expertise spans multiple industries, including construction, telecom, manufacturing and FMCG and I am currently serving as Head of Internal Audit within one of KSA’s renowned and leading construction companies.
My career has taken me across the Middle East and South Asia, working in countries such as Saudi Arabia as well as North America and Canada.
I am recognised as a subject matter expert in compliance, governance and auditing, with significant contributions across diverse, multi-cultural environments.
Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and exploring new destinations. A significant portion of my leisure time is dedicated to engaging with professional bodies, supporting their members, and conducting research to uncover new business or job opportunities. I also spend time attending and participating in workshops and seminars on IFRS Implementation’s, Finance Transformations via ERP, Business and Artificial Intelligence roles in modern day Finance and Audit. On weekends I make time for golf and watching movies.
