Chris Morris, Ipswich branch ambassador
I am a Fellow of the IFA and IPA. I joined the IFA as an Associate in 1984 and became a Fellow 30 years ago in 1987. I was on the IFA Council from 1995 till 1998, and again from 2000 to 2009, a total of 12 years.
My working life has been varied. I worked in accounts for British Airways and a property development and investment public company. I was head of American corporate tax for a US tobacco/wool dealer before setting up my own accountancy practice in Ely, Cambridgeshire in 2001.
My hobbies consist of going to the gym, playing tennis, watching cricket at Lords (I am a full member of the MCC) and supporting Tottenham. I sing tenor in Ely Cathedral and Ely Choral Society.
Finally I enjoy travelling the world when time permits.
