Raymond Harris is a highly accomplished finance professional whose career spans over 50 years across public practice, industry, and consultancy. Rising from assistant accountant to finance director and company secretary, he later established and successfully ran his own specialist agricultural consultancy for over two decades.

As an IFA Fellow and member for nearly 18 years, Raymond has shown exceptional dedication to the Institute through regular engagement at London regional meetings, active participation in annual conferences, and a willingness to offer advice and support to both the IFA team and fellow members. His contributions have helped strengthen the Institute’s reputation, underpinned by his professionalism and commitment to its values. 

Raymond has made significant contributions across the NHS, the Royal British Legion, and a range of employment and appeals tribunal and advisory roles. His work demonstrates a sustained commitment to both his local community and wider society. 

Raymond exemplifies a lifetime of service to the accounting profession, the IFA, and the community. He is a strong ambassador for the Institute and a clear role model for the standards, professionalism, and integrity that members should aspire to.
