About
Not every MTD client is going to maintain perfect digital records themselves. For many accountants and bookkeepers, the challenge is how to take the information clients provide, turn it into compliant digital records and manage quarterly updates efficiently without creating four times the work.

In this practical demonstration, we’ll show how Sage AccountsPrep supports an accountant- or bookkeeper-led MTD workflow. We’ll follow the journey from receiving client records and preparing the bookkeeping, through review and correction, to completing the quarterly update and maintaining a clear audit trail.

Along the way, we’ll explore how AccountsPrep can help practices standardise the way they manage less digitally engaged clients, reduce manual processes and create a repeatable workflow that works quarter after quarter.

The focus is simple: how do you make MTD manageable for the clients who still want you to do it for them?

Session two: Client onboarding to compliance: building a connected practice

About
Managing a growing client base involves much more than preparing accounts and filing returns. From onboarding new clients and tracking requests to managing your team's workload and staying on top of compliance, disconnected processes can add unnecessary admin tasks for accounting practices.

In this webinar, we’ll explore how a connected practice workflow can bring practice operations, bookkeeping, tax and compliance together.

We’ll walk you through Zoho Practice to show how it can help practices manage day-to- day workflows, from client onboarding and communications to task management, team workload visibility, customised practice reports, and tracking client request progress. During this time, we will also take a look at how practices can extend this connected workflow to managing your clients' books, streamline finance process, and file tax returns directly to HMRC on their behalf.

In this session, we'll cover:

  • Managing client onboarding and communications
  • Task management across your practice
  • Tracking client requests and their progress
  • Connecting practice workflows with clients' bookkeeping
  • Using Zoho Books for invoicing, expenses, bank feeds and transaction categorisation for your clients
  • Enhance business efficiency via collaboration, automation, and scale
  • Embedded and Agentic AI use cases in finance workflows
  • Filing tax directly to HMRC and supporting MTD for Income Tax compliance

Session three: The complete client file: an introduction to Workiro

About
Most practices don't lose time on the technical work. They lose it in the gaps around it: duplicating work in different systems, chasing clients for records, and searching inboxes and folders for the latest version of a file. The signed engagement letter sits in one folder, the latest working papers are in someone's downloads, and the email that explains both is in a colleague's inbox. With MTD moving record collection to a quarterly cycle, more documents will arrive, more often, into the same scattered places.

This 30-minute session is a practical introduction to Workiro, the document management and workflow platform built for accounting and professional services firms. You'll see how firms bring documents, emails, approvals and e-signatures together in one client record, connected to the tools they already use, such as TaxCalc, IRIS, Xero and Microsoft 365. We'll show how a document request goes out, how clients reply without passwords or portals, and how everything files itself against the right client.

Session four:Hand the manual work to Dytto. Keep the judgement.

About
Much of a firm's week goes on work that gets done twice. Re-keying figures from client emails into the books. Searching HMRC guidance for something you've checked before. Preparing the same year-end adjustments and working papers again.

In this session we show Dytto, an AI agent for accounting firms, taking that work off your hands. It works inside the tools you already use and posts the results back into your bookkeeping software.

Skills tell Dytto how to handle a task step by step (VAT return review, for example). Use Dytto's library or write your own, so the work is done the same way every time.

Nothing is posted until you've signed it off.
