We are delighted to be joined by Lenny Barry from HMRC who will provide an update on MTD.
We will be joined by Tony Chick at ApariPro who will deliver a talk on how MTD quarterly submissions can be automated using AI.
This is a FACE-TO-FACE NETWORKING EVENT which will also include:
- an IFA update and welcome to new and fellow IFA members; and
- an opportunity to network with other IFA members and professional colleagues.

About the speakers:
Lenny Barry, HMRC
Lenny is an experienced engagement manager having worked on Making Tax Digital since 2018.
He worked extensively with agents on MTD for VAT and is now immersed in readiness work for Making Tax Digital for Income Tax.
Tony Chick, Chief Sales Officer, Apari
Seasoned business leader with 22 years of experience in helping accountancy & wealth management firms improve how they serve their clients with innovative tech and AI solutions.
Tony started his career as a financial controller back in Australia and has since held various leadership positions for large tech players including CCH, Xero, QuickBooks, Taxback International and MYOB. Notably, he played a key role in the launch of Making Tax Digital at QuickBooks.
Now, as Chief Sales Officer at APARI, Tony is on a mission to transform the future of Self Assessment with AI-based technology, setting a new standard in tax compliance.
