IFA lifetime achievement award
About this award
This award recognises the excellence and dedication of an IFA member who has made a sustained and significant contribution to the accounting and finance profession over the course of their career. These contributions will have been made through their professional practice, their organisation or through public service.
Who can nominate
Members of staff can nominate an IFA member apart from those on the judging panel: David Haste, Susan Divall, Jane Capaldi, Kyle Baker-Kemp.
Nomination criteria
Nominees must be:
- An IFA member for a minimum of 10 consecutive years.
- In current good standing (no disciplinary/regulatory matters). Please ask Ant to check this before you submit a nomination.
- The judges will be looking for nominations which demonstrate how the member has made a sustained and significant contribution to the accounting and finance profession over the course of their career.
- This award is judged on the quality of the entries, and not the number of nominations received per nominee. The award may not be presented every year.
Your nomination must:
- Provide a summary of the type of work the member is or was involved in.
- Tell us about the member’s achievements and contribution to the accounting profession.
- Tell us about the member’s contribution to supporting the IFA.
- Tell us about the member’s contribution to the local community where relevant.
Nominations open on Monday 9 February.
Nominations close on Sunday 19 April 2026.
The shortlist will be announced on Thursday 21 May.
