BSc Accounting and Finance

Graduates are eligible to apply for Associate membership of the IFA and will need to provide a transcript from the University of Sialkot as well as evidence of having completed at least three years' work experience in the accountancy sector.   

Graduates who have completed the degree but have insufficient work experience can apply for Provisional Associate Membership. 

BBA Honours degree 

Graduates will receive exemptions into the IFA Direct programme where they have successfully completed the following modules as part of the degree: 

  • Financial accounting 1 and 2 - exemption from 107 Financial statements, internal controls and systems in a business environment. 
  • Managerial accounting - exemption from 108 Budgeting in a business environment. 
  • Business tax - exemption from 103 Principles of tax. 
  • Financial management, corporate finance and international finance - exemption from 208 Business finance. 
  • Business law - exemption from 203 Law for accounting. 

MCom Accounting 

Graduates will receive the following exemptions into the IFA Direct programme:

  • 107 Financial statements, internal controls and systems in a business environment.
  • 108 Budgeting in a business environment.
  • 201 Management information. 
  • 203 Law for accounting. 
  • 208 Business finance. 

Graduates who have completed the optional module ACC304 Financial reporting and disclosure will receive an exemption from 209 Financial reporting. 

Graduates who have completed the optional module ACC305 Advanced audit and assurance will receive an exemption from 301 Assurance. 

MBA (Finance route)

Graduates are eligible to apply for Associate membership of the IFA and will need to provide a transcript from the University of Sialkot and evidence of having completed local tax modules or complete the IFA Direct modules of:

  • 103 Principles of taxation; and  
  • 302 Advanced taxation.  

In addition, applicants will need to provide evidence of having completed at least three years' work experience in the accountancy sector.   

Graduates who have completed the degree but have insufficient work experience can apply for Provisional Associate Membership.
