Georgian Society of Accountants, Auditors and Consultants (GSAAC)

GSAAC was established in 2015 by a number of Georgian practitioner auditors and accountants. GSAAC has organized a number of conferences with support of the World Bank and French Accountancy Institutes CSOEC/CNCC. GSAAC was at the founding stage of Georgian regulatory framework establishment when in 2016 was set the first Law of Georgia on Accounting, Reporting and Audit.

GSAAC works closely with the national public oversight body the State Service for Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision and collaborates with all leading associations and professionals from the region. 

Professional Certification Program

The program is intended to provide prospective professional accountants with knowledge compatible with GSAAC and contribute to the implementation of international education and certification in Georgia.

Professional accountants will acquire international and Georgian knowledge and skills to effectively manage professional career.

The programme consists of three pillars.

Level 1: 

The Certificate in Financial Accounting with a focus on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is designed to certify competence of the beginner students so that they are capable of performing duties of an accountant as required in Georgia.

Level 2: 

Certifies the level of professional competence, required to perform the duties of the chief financial accountant in Georgia.

Level 3: 

The Diploma in Professional Financial Director with focus on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is designed to offer students the knowledge and capabilities required for a successful career as a financial director specialising in IFRS. From understanding the fundamentals to mastering sophisticated concepts, this program provides students with the essential skills and competencies necessary to excel in their profession.
