A unique modular way to study towards IFA membership
Associate membership of the IFA will deliver the professional recognition that comes with being able to call yourself a Financial Accountant. In addition, you will receive dual membership of the IPA and be able to use the designatory letters AFA/MIPA.
IFA membership brings access to a community of like-minded professionals who benefit from supportive branch meetings, expert technical materials and inspiring conferences and CPD workshops.
Studying towards IFA membership with IFA Direct will enhance your personal and professional reputation by developing your knowledge and skills. You will gain a broader and deeper understanding of key subjects relevant to accountants in or supporting small businesses.
To be eligible to apply for IFA membership at Associate level there are up to 10 modules to complete:

107 Financial statements, internal controls and systems in a business environment
108 Budgeting in a business environment
201 Management information
203 Law for accounting
208 Business finance
209 Financial reporting
302 Advanced taxation
Direct route to Associate Tax Adviser membership
To apply for IFA membership at Associate Tax Adviser level there are two modules to complete:

Cost per module
Each module costs £770 which includes the student registration fee and all the features detailed.
