Complaint

Allegations were that the Member breached the Fundamental Principles of the Code of Ethics, subsections 115 ‘Professional Behaviour’ and 111 ‘Integrity’, in that he has been disciplined by another professional body and failed to notify IFA of the outcome, failed to accurately complete his annual member return for 2021, and failed to make adequate arrangements in case of death or incapacity. 

Finding

The Disciplinary Committee found the matter proved.

Sentencing order

Permanently removed from the Register and fined £2,500 and costs of £4,261.
