Complaint:

Allegations were that the member was liable to disciplinary action in that she was disciplined by another professional body, failed to inform the IFA she had been disciplined by another professional body, dishonestly declaring to the IFA that she had not been the subject of investigation and disciplinary proceedings by a professional body resulting in an adverse finding against her and that she had not been involved as a director of a business that had gone into insolvency, failed to inform the IFA that the company had entered liquidation and failed to pay secondary preferential creditors.

Finding:

The Disciplinary Committee found the matters proved. 

Sentencing Order:

Severe reprimands, removed from the register of members and ordered to pay costs of £4,213.28.
