About this award
This award recognises an IFA member or IFA student new to the profession who has demonstrated exceptional promise, ambition and potential in accounting in the last 12 months.
Who can enter
- A current IFA student either studying an accounting-related qualification or employed by a business or practice.
- An IFA member for fewer than 3 years.
- In current good standing (no academic/disciplinary/regulatory matters).
Nomination criteria
This nomination can be made by you or any member of staff within a business or practice.
The nomination should:
- Include a summary of the type of work the nominee is involved in.
- Be written or recorded in English (where supplementary video content is included).
And include examples and testimonials from colleagues and clients and an academic supervisor where appropriate which provide evidence and demonstrate:
- Why this person is an asset to the business or IFA practice and the profession eg, achievements, ongoing study, development within the firm or business.
- Their commitment and contribution to their role eg, testimonials.
- Their contribution to the community where relevant eg, volunteering, charity work.
Judges will be looking for the nominee’s professional development over the last 12 months and what they want to achieve in their accountancy career.
