The Final Accounts training course at Future Connect is a comprehensive program that consolidates various training modules to provide a high-end, practical experience of the complete accounting cycle. The course commences with a strong foundation in bookkeeping and VAT Return, ensuring participants have a solid understanding of these fundamental concepts. As trainees develop proficient bookkeeping skills applicable across diverse industries, they progress to an intermediate level of accountancy. Here, the focus shifts towards closing the books for year-end, involving the calculation of initial Trial Balances. Trainees are provided with academic classes that delve into topics such as CIS, Control Accounts, Advanced Excel, and FRSSE, offering a holistic view of the accounting landscape.
The practical aspect of the Final Accounts training takes place using software like Sage Accounts Production Advanced. While Sage is the primary platform, trainees are also exposed to other accounting software tools like XERO and QuickBooks, complemented by Microsoft Excel. With this software proficiency, participants can effectively manage complete company files, including the calculation of Corporation Tax, which is a critical step in the accounting process.
