Shaima Mol Thassim Naseena, Scotland regional ambassador
Experience
Shaima Mol Thassim Naseena is currently a Business and Accounting Lecturer at Edinburgh Napier University International College, where she is teaching undergraduate and pre-master’s modules in accounting and management. She is also the module lead for the management module and actively contributes to curriculum development, student supervision, and academic research.
Prior to academia, Shaima gained more than seven years of corporate auditing and management experience, having trained with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, specialising in accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial management.
Interests
Shaima is deeply passionate about research and advancing her knowledge in business and accounting. As an early-career researcher, her primary focus was on sustainability reporting, with research publications and ongoing work. She regularly engages with the latest business and accounting literature to stay at the forefront of emerging industry and academic trends.
