BSc Accounting 

Graduates who have at least one year’s sufficient relevant experience in the accountancy sector or a related field can apply to become an Intermediate Financial Accountant IFA AIPA. 

Graduates who have at least three years' sufficient relevant experience in the accountancy sector or a related field can apply to become an Associate Financial Accountant AFA MIPA after successfully completing the optional modules of: 

  • Further taxation and theory
  • Auditing

And successfully completing and passing the following units from the IFA Direct education programme: 

  • Level 7 Corporate reporting for strategic business – advanced 
  • Level 7 UK taxation for business and individuals 

Graduates who have not completed all the optional units will need to have at least three years' sufficient relevant experience in the accountancy sector or a related field and study the following units from the IFA Direct education programmeor equivalent before being eligible for Associate Financial Associate AFA MIPA membership:  

  • Level 4 Personal taxation
  • Level 5 Business taxation 
  • Level 5 Assurance
  • Level 7 Corporate reporting for strategic business – advanced 
  • Level 7 UK taxation for business and individuals 

BA Hons Accounting and Finance

Graduates who have at least one year’s sufficient relevant experience in the accountancy sector or a related field can apply to become an Intermediate Financial Accountant IFA AIPA. 

Graduates who have at least three years' sufficient relevant experience in the accountancy sector or a related field can apply to become an Associate Financial Accountant AFA MIPA after successfully completing the optional modules of: 

  • Level 7 UK taxation for business and individuals
  • Level 7 Corporate Reporting for strategic business – advanced

Masters Accounting and Finance

Graduates who have at least one year’s sufficient relevant experience in the accountancy sector or a related field can apply to become an Intermediate Financial Accountant IFA AIPA.

Graduates who have at least three years' sufficient relevant experience in the accountancy sector or a related field can apply to become an Associate Financial Accountant AFA MIPA after successfully completing the following units: 

  • Fundamentals of Accounting and Finance
  • Financial Statement Analysis
  • Strategic Management Accounting
  • Advanced Corporate Reporting
  • Corporate Financial Strategy

And successfully completing and passing the following units from the IFA Direct education programme: 

 
  • Level 4 Personal taxation
  • Level 4 Law for accounting
  • Level 5 Business taxation 
  • Level 5 Assurance
  • Level 7 UK taxation for business and individuals - advanced
