BSc (Hons) Accountancy and Finance
Graduates who have at least one year’s sufficient relevant experience in the accountancy sector or a related field can apply to become an Intermediate Financial Accountant IFA AIPA.
Graduates who have undertaken the optional modules of:
- Taxation principles
- Audit principles and/or Current audit issues
- Taxation practice
Will need to undertake the following units from the IFA Direct education programme:
- Level 4 Law for Accounting
- Level 7 Corporate reporting for strategic business – advanced
- Level 7 UK taxation for business and individuals
In addition to the IFA Direct units detailed above, graduates who have not taken Taxation principles will need to take Level 4 Personal taxation and Level 5 Business taxation.
Graduates who have not taken Audit principles or Current audit issues will need to take Level 5 Assurance.
Graduates who have not taken Taxation practice will need to take Level 7 UK taxation for business and individuals.
Graduates who have at least three years' sufficient relevant experience in the accountancy sector or a related field can apply to become an Associate Financial Accountant AFA MIPA after successfully completing the optional modules and IFA Direct units.
