Graduates who have at least 1 year’s experience can apply for the IFA’s intermediate grade of membership. Please click on link below for further information.
Graduates of the above degree who have completed the degree and the elective modules of:
- AF3602 Auditing and Assurance
- AF3609 Taxation
And are seeking to become an Associate member of the IFA need to undertake the following units through the IFA Direct Education Programme.
- Level 4 Personal taxation and
- Level 7 Corporate reporting for strategic business - advanced
- Level 7 UK taxation for business and individuals - advanced
If graduates have not completed the elective modules detailed above they would need to take the following programmes through the IFA Direct Programme or provide evidence of having completed equivalent modules.
- Level 4 Personal taxation
- Level 5 Business taxation
- Level 5 Assurance
- Level 7 Corporate reporting for strategic business - advanced
- Level 7 UK taxation for business and individuals - advanced
Applicants who have achieved the educational criteria detailed above will also need to provide evidence of having completed a minimum of three years' work experience in accountancy or a closely related field to be eligible for Associate membership.
