BSc Accounting
Graduates of this programme who have completed the following optional modules as part of their degree programme will be eligible to apply for Associate membership of the IFA.
- Further taxation and theory
- Auditing
BA Hons Accounting and Finance
Graduates of this programme will need to complete the following IFA Direct units to be eligible to apply for Associate membership of the IFA
- Level 7 UK taxation for business and individuals - advanced
- Level 7 Corporate Reporting for strategic business – advanced
unless they have completed the optional unit of Corporate reporting theory and practice with UWE as part of their degree.
Masters Accounting and Finance
Graduates of this programme who have completed the following units as part of their Masters programme:
- Fundamentals of Accounting and Finance
- Financial Statement Analysis
- Strategic Management Accounting
- Advanced Corporate Reporting
- Corporate Financial Strategy
will need to complete the following IFA Direct units to be eligible to apply for membership of the IFA:
- Level 4 Personal taxation
- Level 4 Law for accounting
- Level 5 Business taxation
- Level 5 Assurance
- Level 7 UK taxation for business and individuals - advanced
For all of the programmes detailed above if graduates have not completed these optional units, they will be required to take additional units through IFA Direct dependent upon their individual pathway. For further information please contact the education team at education@ifa.org.uk.
For all of the programmes detailed above applicants who meet the educational criteria will also need to provide evidence of having completed a minimum of three years' work experience in accountancy or a closely related field.
Graduates gaining work experience can apply to become a Provisional Associate member.
