Graduates who have at least 1 year’s experience can apply for the IFA’s intermediate grade of membership. Please click on link below for further information.
Graduates who have undertaken the optional modules of:
- Further taxation and theory
- Auditing
Will need to undertake the following IFA Direct units
- Level 7 Corporate reporting for strategic business – advanced
- Level 7 UK taxation for business and individuals – advanced
Graduates who have not completed the optional modules detailed above will need to undertake the following modules through IFA Direct or provide evidence of having completed equivalent modules.
- Level 4 Personal taxation
- Level 5 Business taxation
- Level 5 Assurance
- Level 7 Corporate reporting for strategic business – advanced
- Level 7 UK taxation for business and individuals - advanced
BA Hons Accounting and Finance
Graduates who have at least 1 year’s experience can apply for the IFA’s intermediate grade of membership. Please click on link below for further information.
Graduates of this programme will need to complete the following IFA Direct units to be eligible to apply for Associate membership of the IFA
- Level 7 UK taxation for business and individuals - advanced
- Level 7 Corporate Reporting for strategic business – advanced
Masters Accounting and Finance
Graduates who have at least 1 year’s experience can apply for the IFA’s intermediate grade of membership. Please click on link below for further information.
Graduates of this programme who have completed the following units as part of their Masters programme:
- Fundamentals of Accounting and Finance
- Financial Statement Analysis
- Strategic Management Accounting
- Advanced Corporate Reporting
- Corporate Financial Strategy
will need to complete the following IFA Direct units to be eligible to apply for membership of the IFA:
- Level 4 Personal taxation
- Level 4 Law for accounting
- Level 5 Business taxation
- Level 5 Assurance
- Level 7 UK taxation for business and individuals - advanced
For all of the programmes detailed above if graduates have not completed these optional units, they will be required to take additional units through IFA Direct dependent upon their individual pathway. For further information please contact the education team at [email protected].
For all of the programmes detailed above applicants will also need to provide evidence of having completed a minimum of three years' work experience in accountancy or a closely related field.
